How to: Link and embed pictures in a form.
Solution:
In the Form Design view, select the picture and change the 'Picture Type' properties box accordingly in the picture's property sheet.
NOTE 1: The 'Developer Tools' must be installed.
1) If the Database window in not activated, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Forms' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the desired form in the Database window. (The selected form is highlighted.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The selected form appears in the Form Design view.)
5) Select the picture to embed or link. (Handles appear around the picture.)
6) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Properties'. (The Properties sheet appears.)
7) Click the 'Format' tab in the property sheet.
8) To link a picture:
a) Click 'Picture Type' property box. (A down arrow appears to the right of the property box.)
b) Click on the down arrow. (A drop-down list appears.)
c) Select 'Linked' from the drop-down list. (Linked appears in the property box.)
9) To embed a picture or an object:
a) Click 'Picture Type'. (A down arrow appears to the right of the property box.)
b) Click on the down arrow. (A drop-down box appears.)
c) Select 'Embedded' from the drop-down list. (Embedded appears in the property box.)

10) To close the property sheet, click the 'X' in the upper-right hand corner of the property sheet.
Click X button to close property sheet
NOTE: The properties will be saved only when the design view is saved.
